Yambo Restaurant

Soooooo good. I order from this place on Postmates way too often. The food is authentic and the taste is just unbeatable. I really love their Carane Asada. It always makes me feel like I am back home.

This is place is a hit or miss sometimes. My recent order was carne asada, gallo pinto, queso frito, & tajadas. The meat was the only good thing. The gallo pinto was so-so not the best. The cheese- disgusting! The cheese taste kind of spoiled to be honest. The tajadas (fried green plantain chips) were all burnt! Like I said sometimes is good and sometimes definitely NOT! The atmosphere is nice. Limited parking.

Food is good, it’s always packed. Pretty good place to feel like you’re in Nicaragua. Love it there.

I wouldn't recommend it. I give 2 stars because on of the server was friendly and was allowed to use the restroom

This place is bad. They got my order wrong. They are not making sure the workers or customers are maintaining distance. The food looks dry and tastes worse. I'm Nicaraguan. I'm truly disappointed in this place. It used to be good years ago. AVOID IT.

This is now my new favorite steak spot in the world . This place is a hidden gem , a must see experience of Miami ... I've lived here for years and my only regret is I have not been here sooner!

This is the absolute best place to eat in little Havana with a perfect variety. Be sure to grab a fried cheese with your meal!I drive from homestead for this place. Writing this post is making me go now,this place is awesome the line pretty much speaks for itself.people line up to get these yummy eats.This is an amazing piece of Nicaragua here in Miami.

I stumbled across Yambo as they are very near where I was staying. I ordered a main - fried pork with two sides included. The food was superb and there was so much that I struggled to finish it.I was automatically given free water and vegetables, but despite this ordered a mango & orange fruit juice, which was freshly made & gorgeous. All this set me back $10 (OK $12 with tip). Amazing value. Friendly, professional staff. Nicely decorated in Nicaraguan style. Own car park. Does take-away too, and I noticed this option was very popular with the locals.

I ordered from doordash. portion is huge, very delicious. fried flank steak and fried cheese. It is cheap with good quality food.

Very delicious food! My husband and i came to miami for a whole week and we came to eat here 4 times. Super great service as well, very nice and welcoming. I love it!

The food is pretty good. Every time we go they raise the prices... The service is pretty quick. It's a pretty good place. I'm worried the prices will keep raising and it will become unaffordable... Overall though we had a great time as a family!

A late night life saver, if you are a night owl this place is excellent. Lots of hearty traditional dishes, plus drinks and a few deserts. This is a local treasure, however you must brush up on your Spanish or bring a friend to translate because it will difficult to order otherwise.

I had the carne asada plate and everything was delicious and enough for 2 people to share. Meat was soo flavorful and tender. Gallo pinto could use a tad more salt/seasoning but all else it was great. Love the lil outdoor hangout.

Evertime I'm in Florida this place is original Spanish Nicaraguan food, the lady's are super nice and the prices are fair.

Looks like I was ripped off. I ordered from menu an $8 dish, meat with rice and plantains plus a glass of water. When I ask for the bill waitress Carolina said $12. I asked how so and she said with the tax. I told still it could not be a $4 tax on 8 dollars. After two more rounds of me saying no possible she says oh.. and plus the tip. So apparently she added herself a 42% tip. Like I said a ripp off. I will not be back.

Food is warmed up in a microwave and taste horrible.

Not a fancy joint, but I love coming here. Minimal parking but I walk here. Convenient hours and great food. Outdoor and indoor seating available, but I typically order to go. After hurricanes hit, this place opens. There are other similar restaurants in the area but I typically go to Yambo because they have been consistent for years.

Good food! A few times we had dry food, but it's not bad. Service, they might have to work on it.

Love this place. Been eating here for years great carne asada and gallo pinto. Im still very grateful they were one of the few places open after Hurricane Wilma all those years ago. Thank you.

This place has no tasty flavor food...!!!They serve small portions and cheat about the prices they told you first and when you will pay they charge you extra money in my case for a very small order of TILAPIA(salty fish) with just rice and beans...!!

Best Carne asada in Miami!

AMAZING Nicaraguan food. I think the best Latin food I have ever had. Funky decor, great service and low prices. Can't wait to go back.

This place is horrible!!! What a waste of money, don't go there. The food taste disgusting. The rice was hard and the fried plantains were raw and even the shredded beef was horrible.

open 24 hrs 365, get portion of Steak 3.00 well worth it. Food is good, great for price... good spot after a late night or for breakfast

Good and delicious food, try it out if you have the time. Often, you'll be standing in the line for awhile! Worth it tho. 👍
